I can't get the WeatherSix screen saver to work. I created a folder called
ScreenSavers in the root directory of a network share. I then dumped all of
the WeatherSix files into that directory - including the images folder. I
have rebooted the HD1000 and have a compact flash swap file set up. When I
go to the Screen Saver section of setup it doesn't list WeatherSix - only
the default three that come with the HD1000. They are all say Location:
Built-in. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Clay

I did not know WeatherSix was a screensaver? I invoke it from the menu icon.

The screen saver feature was added in the last release of WeatherSix at the
beginning of this month.

NOTE:
a.. This feature really isn't designed to be a real screen saver that
would normally vary the displayed image to prevent damaging some types of
displays. Instead it is a way to continuously cycle between each of your
defined locations until stopped by pressing any button on your remote.

The information on how to create a screen saver was posted back on April 9th
by Daniel Sletten from Roku and there he states "- place the executable in a
folder called 'ScreenSavers' at the root level of a mounted media card or
network share." When I tested the application, I only ran it from a mounted
compact flash card where it worked fine with no problems.

Here is a link to that thread....
