Remove "Built-in" from the main GUI?

Hi All,

Is it possible to remove the "Built-in" file mount from the main GUI? The
reason I want to do that is because I have no intention to use precious
internal memory for any apps or media and it would be nice to remove it from
the GUI.

I want to store the HD1K under a cabinet in a place where I do not have easy
access to the front panel. Is it possible someone could write a daemon that
can sense the low memory condition that is perceived as a lockup and cause
the HD1K to reboot?

hi roger,

i don't think there is any way to remove "built-in" from the GUI, but I
will add it to the list of possible changes.

If you are going to put the HD1K in a cabinet, you could just put in a CF
card and download the swap script from the roku web site. This would
eliminate the "low memory" problem.
