I am trying out something called crosstool ? I had to install fink and
bunch of gnu programs before using it. I am still having some issues
getting the configuration to complete but supposed it is suppse to
work on OS X. Give it a try and let me know how far you get.

So one thing that i was able to do was able to use XCode to actually
compile the Code. I copied the required header files to the Mac, and
used the compiler so that I could at least remove all the syntax
errors, etc. I do the final compile on the Roku.

Still slow but manageable..
