Despite warnings to limit the number of network shares, the critical factor
causing the problem in this case turned out to be server-side physical disk
read capabilities. By moving the Aquarium art pack to a different disk on
the server, all problems were eliminated. Thanks for your assistance thus
far. I look forward to an integrated iTunes support in the HD1k, especially
if it is native to the GUI. Sort by ID3 tag attributes would be a nice
feature.

Hi. I have never been able to get the aquarium and sound to both work
simultaneously (my reason for purchasing the product). I have added 128MB
SWAP via COMPACTFLASH drive, per specification on the ROKU website. My
roku is connected to a WinXP pro server (2.0GHz, 2GB RAM) via 100MBPS cat5e
ethernet. The LongAquarium is hosted on the same disk & partition as the
MP3 files. There is only 1 network share. The network share has 6
subdirectories. The subdirectories have between 50-800 files each.
Why can't the unit play the aquarium and music simultaneously without
having hiccups every other second?
