I'm curious to know if the Soundbridge can be used as an alarm
clock? Is there a clock built in? Is there a alarm?

If you are interested in SoundBridge, check out our web site. It has been updated to include more accurate information about the shipping product, as well as support for our itunes built-in player that will talk directly to itunes via DAAP (licensed from apple). The complete manual is also now available online.

I have a wireless laptop in my home theater (oh, ok, my tv room) and I am
running XP's remote desktop on the laptop and the computer that is running
vlc. Using the remote desktop I can select the video I want to watch and,
in most cases, move freely to any position in that video by moving vlc's
slider. The resulting video and AC-3 audio are excellent. My only
remaining problem (other than the occasional crash, etc.), is the fact that
pause doesn't work for more than a few seconds. For the first time since
buying my HD1000 I can truly enjoy movies served from the computer. Many
thanks to Sujal for the hard work that made this day possible!

You guys have truly exceeded my expectations (well, except for ship

You truly rock!
Sounds like this will make it work just like an Airport Express client?

I'm sending this again because I did not receive any response on the
first try...
When using a wireless adapter on an HD1000, the connection is not
automatically initialized. When will this be fixed?

I have an HD1000 and am using a D-Link DWL-122 USB Wireless adapter.
When resetting the HD1000, it doesn't connect to the network. I need to
go to setup, wireless, and select "Done" to make the connection. Is
there any way to make the connection automatic?

CinemaSix 1.0 Beta is now available!
This release is hopefully the best release yet, and pretty good from
a
spit and polish perspective!
Unfortunately, there are still problems with lipsync on AC3 DVDs and
ReplayTV MPEG compatibility did not make it into this release
(please use
the ReplayTV CinemaSix binary that Philip Van Baren released).
There have
been a huge number of changes since 0.9 (some externally noticeable,
many
behind the scenes in preparation for great things to come in the
future);
read the README.
You can grab the release from http://www.up.org/cinemasix<http://www.up.org/cinemasix>
The source is available from SourceForce as well.
Unless there is something seriously wrong with this release, I won't
be
making another release until the end of July. Hopefully I can make
1-2
month release cycles from here forward.

Ahh. I must have checked in the experimental library without the -kb
(binary) option. I'll have to checkin the correct one. In the meantime,
use the binary that Don posted to the list a month or so ago.

Can you list the errors? The thing should build from CVS, but I haven't
tested on the box (I use a cross compiler) in a while, so maybe something
is wrong.

I'd really like to be able to compile this latest build (I add in some
additional video window resizing) but straight out of cvs produces
numerous warnings and errors.

You guys have truly exceeded my expectations (well, except for ship
date ;-)
You truly rock!
Sounds like this will make it work just like an Airport Express client?

I'm sending this again because I did not receive any response on the
first try...
When using a wireless adapter on an HD1000, the connection is not
automatically initialized. When will this be fixed?

Subject: Wireless connection not initialized on reset
I have an HD1000 and am using a D-Link DWL-122 USB Wireless adapter.
When resetting the HD1000, it doesn't connect to the network. I need to
go to setup, wireless, and select "Done" to make the connection. Is
there any way to make the connection automatic?
