streaming to multiple HD1K units

Hello all -

I have been using the HD1K without problems thus far. I have a LinkStation
connected directly to the unit and plays HD transport streams fine (I did
notice the when it first plays it has difficulties). I am wondering if anyone
has tried streaming multiple videos to different units at the same time? i.e...
one LinkStation to two or three units playing the same video stream - or
different videos.

Thanks in advance to all that reply,
bS

I haven't tried multiple units yet, but I have seen the 'first play'
problems. It is almost like the HD1000 has to be primed before you can use
it.

I have the same problem with the HD1000 needing to be "Primed"
I have found that if you launch the aquarium program before running
streamplayer 0.1d, streams start fine. I have sent out a mail list question
on this in the past and received nothing back. It seems that Streamplayer is
missing some initialization item.
On the Linkstation question, I believe the Linkstation is on the hairy edge
of being fast enough feed one TS stream much less two. I can run two SD
streams off of it (on the main drive, not the USB drive) but two TS streams
get weird

Thanks Barry for both pieces of information - I thought that might be the case, but I did not have multiple units to test. I read in this or another forum of someone having something like 12 HD1K units networked in his house - so they must be only using one unit at-a-time, you think???

Thanks Ron for letting me know that it's a player issue and nothing that I am doing on my end. I have been doing my own high def encoding - testing the unit at different bit rates.
