I'm sending it to the forum since I did not get any response from Roku Labs Support....:-(

Hi,

I have connected my HD1000 to 220v (in Israel) supply and it looks like even when the system is in standby the device become pretty hot... the only way to keep it cold is to disconnect the power cord from the 220v supply.

Do you know about that issue ? It looks like your internal regulator consumes power even in standby (maybe only if used with 220v).... is there any way to overcome it ?

Thanks,
Yosi.

the hd1000 is still powered on when in standby mode.

It does run very warm, but is within operational specs of the chips.
